About

Lutheran Church of the Master got its start with a few dozen people meeting in a dance studio. In October 2003, with more than 2,000 members on its roll, Lutheran Church of the Master reached out from its own comfortable sanctuary and began a dual site ministry by holding Sunday morning services in a school cafeteria. In keeping with Lutheran Church of the Master’s commitment and practice of spreading God’s Word, this congregation, known for its strong spirit of mission and benevolence, built a second campus at 180th Street and West Dodge Road. The building was completed and opened in July 2006. This innovative approach of having two church campuses brings tremendous potential for growth and outreach.

The Foundation of the Master was created to gain funding from traditional and non-traditional sources to promote growth of Christian values primarily in the Midlands. The Foundation structure will allow us to apply for grants and access funds which we are not able to accept as a church body. The Foundation will help facilitate planned giving and the acceptance of gifts from estates by donors.
